The opportunity

As our Director of Product Design, you will serve as a foundational leader who defines the future of our user experience. This role is about more than just aesthetics. You will bridge the gap between hardware and software to simplify complex challenges, ensuring that every interaction a child or parent has with a Gabb product is intuitive and delightful. You will act as a strategic partner to our product and marketing teams, championing a user-centered culture and guiding our design team to reach their full potential.

A day in the life

• You will establish a forward-thinking design vision, inspiring your team to push creative boundaries while ensuring our products remain simple and impactful.
• You will lead and mentor a talented group of designers, providing the coaching and feedback necessary to help them grow in their careers.
• You will drive operational excellence by implementing design systems, best practices, and rapid prototyping workflows that allow us to test, learn, and iterate quickly.

Who you are

You are a seasoned design leader with at least 8 years of experience in product design, including 4 or more years in a leadership capacity. You have a proven history of shipping exceptional consumer technology that blends hardware and software seamlessly. You are a master communicator who can influence stakeholders at all levels, and you thrive in environments where you must navigate ambiguity to build a clear, actionable vision. You are fluent in English and possess a deep understanding of interaction design, product strategy, and the importance of fostering an inclusive, positive team culture.
