About the Role
We are searching for a Director, Platform Engineering - Data Infrastructure to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity. In this high-visibility role, you will lead our data infrastructure team, working closely with senior leadership to define our strategic roadmap. You will be responsible for designing and scaling the systems that power our data-driven initiatives, ensuring that our platform remains robust, reliable, and innovative as we continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a talented group of platform engineers, overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of our core data infrastructure.
- Develop the strategic vision and roadmap for our data and AI initiatives, ensuring they align perfectly with our broader business objectives.
- Collaborate across departments with product managers and technical leads to prioritize projects, track progress, and ensure the successful delivery of our commitments.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with a preference for candidates holding an advanced degree.
- At least 12 years of professional experience in software companies, specifically within distributed systems, data infrastructure, or AI/ML platforms.
- A minimum of 6 years in a leadership role managing highly technical teams.
- Deep technical proficiency in data engineering, machine learning, statistics, and AI technologies.
- Strong architectural skills, particularly regarding large-scale distributed systems.
- Hands-on programming expertise in languages such as Java or Python.
- Proven success in project management using tools like Jira or Azure Boards, combined with a mastery of agile software development practices.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $206,000 to $280,000 USD. In addition to base pay, we provide a generous equity plan and a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support our employees.
