The role
We are looking for a Director of User Acquisition to serve as a central leader within our growth engine. This is a full-time, executive-level position that can be performed remotely from anywhere. In this role, you will oversee a nine-figure annual acquisition budget and lead a talented team of managers to scale our user base while maintaining high quality. You will report directly to our Chief Marketing Officer and work in partnership with our product, finance, and creative teams to drive our global expansion.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive acquisition strategies to consistently meet or exceed our ROAS and user quality targets on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Manage the functional P&L, including media spend, tools, creative budgets, and resource planning, while overseeing a team of acquisition managers through mentorship and professional development.
- Partner with our data and analytics teams to refine our approach to experimentation, performance measurement, and automation across both existing and emerging media sources.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- More than 8 years of experience in performance marketing, specifically focused on mobile app user acquisition.
- A proven track record of managing multi-million dollar monthly budgets and scaling mobile apps through rigorous A/B, MVT, and incrementality testing.
- Strong existing relationships with major ad networks, DSPs, and media partners such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and Applovin.
- Expertise in data analysis with the ability to tell compelling stories through metrics and guide cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills in English and French, with a collaborative mindset suited for a global team environment.
