What you bring
As our Director of Technical Product Management, you will serve in a full-time, remote capacity, acting as a vital bridge between our science, engineering, and machine learning teams. You will report directly to the VP of Science and lead our efforts in shaping the future of our data product strategy. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of five or more technical product managers to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Defining and executing a comprehensive roadmap for our internal data components, including our system of record, data pipelines, and machine learning initiatives.
- Partnering with senior leadership across technology and science departments to align our product vision with the company's broader goals.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses a blend of deep technical expertise and strong leadership capabilities. You should have at least six years of product management experience focused on technical or data infrastructure within an enterprise SaaS environment, along with three years of experience leading high-performing teams. A background in life sciences is essential for this role. You should be comfortable working with modern data stacks, including Kubernetes, Spark, Beam, Redshift, and BigQuery. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record in growth-stage organizations, possessing the executive presence required to foster collaboration across diverse, highly skilled teams. Proficiency in English is required.
