The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Director of Talent to lead our recruiting strategy, operations, and execution. As a key member of our leadership team, you will act as a strategic partner to our hiring managers and team leads to help us scale our company. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Canada, where you will play a vital part in shaping the future of our workforce. You will be responsible for building high-performing teams, fostering an inclusive environment, and ensuring that we attract the best talent in the industry to help us reach our ambitious goals.

A day in the life

• Design and execute full-cycle staffing plans by collaborating closely with hiring managers to ensure we meet our growth targets.
• Manage the end-to-end candidate journey to provide a seamless, positive experience that reflects our company values.
• Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify exceptional talent and build diverse, high-quality pipelines.

Who you are

You are an executive-level recruiting professional with over 10 years of experience, ideally gained within a high-growth tech environment. You possess a data-driven mindset and are comfortable using insights to guide hiring decisions and improve processes. You have expert-level proficiency with applicant tracking systems, such as Ashby, and you excel at communicating complex strategies to leadership. You are a collaborative partner who is passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, and you thrive in the fast-paced, dynamic atmosphere of a startup. Fluency in English is required for this role.
