What is this role?
We are looking for an experienced Director of Strategy to join our Strategy and Planning team in New York City. This is a full-time, senior-level position based on-site. In this role, you will act as a creative and data-driven leader, helping us develop and execute innovative, integrated media strategies that deliver measurable results for our clients. You will report directly to the Managing Partner of Strategy and Planning and must be eligible to work in the United States.
What will you do?
- Lead the development of data-backed communication strategies that uncover consumer insights and provide clear direction for our media objectives.
- Serve as the primary storyteller for our clients, crafting clear, compelling narratives and presentations that translate complex data into actionable business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal planning, channel leads, and measurement teams to ensure our audience strategies and media recommendations align perfectly with our clients' long-term visions.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this role, you should be a curious and innovative thinker with a deep understanding of the digital media landscape. You are a natural leader who enjoys mentoring others and presenting to senior stakeholders.
- You have at least 6 years of experience in media, with a strong background in strategy and digital media.
- You bring demonstrated expertise in the Technology and Telecom sectors, with a track record of managing large-scale, full-funnel clients spending over $50 million annually.
- You are proficient in audience planning tools and have a deep understanding of media methodology, including both brand building and performance marketing.
- You possess excellent communication skills and have direct experience managing teams of at least two people.
- You are comfortable working with marketing technology platforms, attribution modeling, and data visualization tools.
- You are a fluent English speaker.
