About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Sales to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across EMEA and the rest of the world. You will lead direct sales teams and manage distributor networks while shaping our global sales strategy. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who is comfortable working in a hybrid environment and is ready to travel up to 50% of the time to support our global accounts and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute global sales strategies that effectively communicate our value proposition to drive demand for our products and services.
- Leverage your expertise in the life sciences industry to accelerate our opportunity pipeline, with a specific focus on biopharma and CRO segments.
- Lead, train, and coach our sales teams to ensure a consistent message and a culture focused on customer excellence and success.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A minimum of a BSc (Hons) in a scientific discipline, such as Cell and Molecular Biology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Significant commercial leadership experience within the life sciences industry, specifically in managing international sales of technical products or services.
- Proven success in coaching sales managers to optimize performance and output.
- Strong financial acumen, expert knowledge of revenue operations, and proficiency in CRM and funnel management.
- The ability to travel up to 50% of the time within EMEA and other international regions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire and influence stakeholders across the organization.
Location
This position is based at the Babraham Campus in Cambridge, UK, with hybrid working options available.
