Our healthcare system currently stands as the leading cause of personal bankruptcy in the United States, with millions of Americans facing financial hardship due to the costs of seeking care. At Cedar, we are dedicated to changing this narrative. We leverage data science, smart product design, and personalization to make healthcare more affordable and accessible for everyone. By moving away from the outdated, one-size-fits-all approach and adopting consumer best practices, we are building a platform that delivers a superior experience for patients and providers alike. Since our founding in 2016, we have grown to support over 30 million patients annually and partner with more than 55 leading healthcare organizations.
The role
We are seeking a creative and motivational Director of Sales Enablement to join us on a full-time basis. This is a high-impact, visible leadership position reporting to the VP of Product Marketing. You will be responsible for building, deploying, and managing our sales enablement program, ensuring our Sales and Client Management teams possess the tools and expertise needed to sell our evolving suite of products. This role is offered as a hybrid position, and we are looking for a candidate based in New York or the Eastern Time Zone who is comfortable traveling to New York City for in-person collaboration approximately 4 to 6 times per year.
Core responsibilities
- Take full ownership of our sales enablement strategy, which includes designing training programs, defining sales methodologies, and overseeing tool implementation.
- Lead the onboarding strategy for new sales hires, including the development of calendars and delivery of training content.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Client Management to define requirements, track KPIs, and manage project timelines.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong background in sales enablement and a passion for technology. We look for the following qualifications:
- Five to seven years of experience in sales enablement, ideally within a high-growth software-as-a-service or technology company.
- Proven ability to implement sales methodologies, processes, and best practices.
- Proficiency with essential enablement tools, specifically Salesforce, Gong, Groove, and Sales Navigator.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- A consultative and empathetic leadership style that allows you to work effectively across various departments.
- A bachelor’s degree is required, and experience in the healthcare or healthtech industry is considered a significant plus.
Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your location, experience, and education:
- For candidates in CA, NY, NJ, or CT, the salary range is $199,750 - $235,000.
- For candidates located outside of CA, NY, NJ, or CT, the salary range is $179,800 - $211,500.
- This role is equity eligible.
- Comprehensive benefits include medical insurance, a 401k plan with a 100% company match up to 3% of your annual compensation, and a dedicated learning budget.
- We provide flexible work arrangements, including hybrid and remote options, alongside wellness programs and generous paid time off.
