Director of Quality and Reliability at Gong.io

We are searching for a seasoned leader to join our team as the Director of Quality and Reliability. This is a full-time, hybrid position where you will oversee our SRE and QA functions, as well as our 24/7 operational center. Gong is a leader in revenue intelligence, using proprietary artificial intelligence to help thousands of companies capture and act on customer interactions to drive growth. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the resilience and quality of our SaaS platform throughout the entire development lifecycle, working closely with product and engineering teams to maintain high standards for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a unified strategy for quality and reliability that aligns with our broader goals across R&D, Product, and Customer Success.
• Build and lead our SRE domain, focusing on proactive monitoring, fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and the implementation of automated processes to improve service scalability.
• Manage, mentor, and foster the professional growth of our SRE, NOC, and QA teams located in Israel and Ireland, ensuring they operate efficiently to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in the SaaS or high-tech sector within SRE and QA fields, including a minimum of 5 years in a management capacity.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven technical proficiency with AWS cloud, Java, and Python.
• Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing automation, and monitoring frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to manage change and drive complex projects.
