We are looking for a seasoned Director of Program Management to join our team in India on a full-time, on-site basis. In this executive role, you will define and oversee our end-to-end program delivery processes, ensuring that our cross-functional initiatives remain perfectly aligned with our broader business strategy and long-term goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of program managers focused on executing technology projects through Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of programs, including planning, milestone tracking, and goal achievement.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks and issues to keep project execution on track.
- Develop a comprehensive global program strategy that encompasses the entire software development lifecycle.
- Coordinate strategy execution across various sub-teams and functions to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Act as the primary expert for program strategy, driving performance and cross-functional alignment.
- Engage with stakeholders to facilitate clear communication and ensure organizational buy-in.
- Drive engineering-wide initiatives and organize events to support our internal culture and goals.
- Serve as a change agent by identifying long-term improvements to increase the overall value and efficiency of the program management department.
- Contribute to high-level strategic discussions and help identify new opportunities for company growth.
Must-haves
- Over 20 years of experience managing complex programs within the technology sector.
- At least 6 years of direct management experience.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Proven success in leading, coaching, and mentoring program managers and scrum masters.
- Strong capability in managing resource capacity and budgets using Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional business acumen and a strategic approach to general management.
- Ability to prioritize effectively and motivate teams across different functions.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to foster trust at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to diverse audiences.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Background in software development, including experience as a software engineer or engineering manager.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CSM.
