About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Professional Services to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for managing and expanding our technical consulting business within a target domain. You will act as a bridge between our clients and our technical experts, ensuring that we deliver high-quality, impactful solutions while growing our presence in the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, scope, and architect large-scale, end-to-end projects while overseeing their successful delivery for our clients.
- Collaborate with project managers and technical staff to develop realistic timelines, assess system architectures, and recommend improvements.
- Mentor and educate colleagues while proactively managing project risks and keeping stakeholders informed on budgets and development progress.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in a relevant role, ideally within professional services or consulting. You should have a deep understanding of the Python ecosystem and expertise in at least one of the following areas: numerical computing, distributed and high-performance computing, infrastructure and cloud, machine learning and AI, MLOps, or data engineering. Additionally, we value candidates who have participated in open-source projects and possess a strong track record of leading technical teams through the full project life cycle.
Location
This position is remote, and we accept applications from anywhere. While we are a globally distributed team, we prefer candidates who have some overlap with U.S. and European time zones.
