Are you ready to help us transform the future of outdoor work by leading our product strategy at the world’s premier robotics company? At Burro, we are on a mission to solve critical labor shortages for farmers by deploying autonomous ground vehicles that act as the Wall-E of the agricultural world. We are backed by top-tier investors and have a rapidly growing fleet already at work in vineyards and nurseries across the country. We believe in fostering a diverse, creative environment where you can truly be yourself while building innovative solutions that make a tangible impact on the lives of our customers.
What you bring
We are looking for a Director of Product to join us in a full-time, on-site capacity within the United States. In this leadership role, you will act as both a player and a coach, reporting directly to our CEO while collaborating with our CTO and SVP of Revenue to shape our product roadmap. Your work will be central to our growth as we scale our robotics solutions.
- You will own the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept through to final launch, while ensuring our features deliver maximum value to our users.
- You will be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing team that includes product managers, safety engineers, and user acceptance testers.
- You will define our go-to-market strategies and establish clear metrics, OKRs, and KPIs to measure the success and performance of our product function.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 7 years of experience in product management, with a minimum of 3 years specifically focused on robotics or autonomy. We are looking for a strategic thinker who is data-driven and possesses a customer-centric mindset. You must be comfortable with extensive travel to customer sites, as we believe the best product decisions are made in the field. You should hold a bachelor’s degree in a field such as Business, Engineering, or Liberal Arts. Proficiency in tools like Jira and Confluence is essential, as is the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly. While not required, the ability to speak Spanish is considered a significant asset.
What we offer
We are committed to supporting our team members with a comprehensive package designed to provide security and flexibility. We offer equity in the company alongside the following benefits:
- 401k retirement plan.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Company-paid life insurance.
- Additional voluntary benefits.
- Unlimited PTO and paid parental leave.
How to Apply
If you are passionate about robotics and want to lead a team that is changing the landscape of agriculture, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your application through our official portal to start the conversation. We look forward to reviewing your experience and discussing how you can help us build the future of outdoor work.
