The Daily Wire is expanding our technology team and searching for a Director of Product to help shape the future of media and entertainment. We are dedicated to delivering compelling, thought-provoking content to millions of active subscribers, and this role is central to our mission. As our new leader, you will oversee the growth and innovation of our digital platforms and consumer technology, guiding a talented product team to turn ambitious concepts into reality.
Key outcomes
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product vision and strategy that aligns with our core business goals.
- Create and manage a strategic roadmap that effectively balances immediate needs with long-term objectives.
- Mentor and empower a team of product managers while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and high performance.
- Refine our internal processes for product development and roadmap execution to ensure scalability.
- Utilize data analysis and user research to identify opportunities for platform growth and improved engagement.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators to track the success of our product initiatives.
- Collaborate across departments, including engineering, design, and marketing, to ensure the delivery of seamless user experiences.
- Communicate insights and strategic recommendations clearly to executive leadership.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in product management, specifically within the consumer technology sector.
- A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience focused on managing and developing product teams.
- At least 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, hyper-growth, or startup environment.
- Strong technical fluency, with the ability to navigate engineering trade-offs and explain complex concepts to various stakeholders.
- Proven background in mobile app development and a deep understanding of the full mobile product lifecycle.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile or lean product management methodologies.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to drive results through data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to lead effectively in an on-site environment within the United States.
- Proficiency in the English language.
