We are currently looking for a Director of Product to join our team and help us scale our data intelligence solutions.

Key outcomes

• Define and execute a clear vision and roadmap for our data-driven products that aligns with our broader business objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for data-focused offerings, from initial ideation and strategy to final deployment and impact analysis.
• Collaborate across internal departments, including engineering, design, data research, and operations, to build and refine high-quality datasets.
• Partner with our data research teams to develop index products, analytics, and investment solutions, while overseeing the methodology and technology used for distribution.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of product managers, serving as a player-coach to drive results.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure product success and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Work alongside our marketing and go-to-market teams to develop product collateral and campaign strategies.
• Evaluate and conduct due diligence on external vendors to identify opportunities for enhancing our product offerings.

Requirements

• Seven to ten years of product management experience, specifically focused on building and launching financial market data products such as indices, reference data, and pricing feeds.
• A deep understanding of the investment lifecycle and market data across a variety of financial asset classes.
• Proven success in developing data-oriented products, particularly those delivered through APIs and data feeds.
• Strong technical fluency in data platforms and experience working closely with researchers and operations teams.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Agile development methodologies and modern product management practices.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and engage effectively with senior leadership and clients.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, with an expectation to be onsite at our Soho, New York office two to three days per week.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience working with private market data or within the venture finance sector.
• Specific expertise in index product development and a strong background in institutional asset management.
• Familiarity with financial concepts such as valuation techniques, price discovery, and corporate action adjustments.
• Experience leading large-scale systems change initiatives or re-platforming projects.
• A Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Science, or a related field.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is 220,000 USD to 255,000 USD, plus an annual bonus. Final compensation packages are determined based on factors such as candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location. We also offer the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
