Director of Product at Bitwerx Inc

About This Position  

We are looking for a Director of Product to join our growing team!  

Our ideal candidate is curious, always looking for new ways to solve problems, and has the aptitude to oversee three teams as we implement complex technologies quickly and effectively. You’ll bring hands on technical experience from being a part of a software focused team. In addition, you are collaborative and can make a well-rounded contribution to the team.  

You will provide guidance and mentorship to the product team. The Director of Product is accountable for ensuring the speed and accuracy of solution delivery, timelines and timely delivery of solutions.  Responsible for excellent communication across development, product and operations, the Director of Product will have experience in innovative strategy and a desire to lead teams to success.  

This is a full-time position out of our Lexington, KY office and can be on-site, hybrid, or remote. If remote, you can expect to visit the office for new hire orientation and typically for team meetings once a quarter.

What We're Looking For:  

• Five (5) years of experience in product management, preferably in leadership roles, with a track record of successfully managing and launching products
• Experience with cloud-based data technologies (Azure preferred) 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and continuous improvement 
• Hands on experience as an individual contributor in a technicalrole
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Product Owners and Product Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability 
• Working experience in Agile Scrum environments 
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new product development 
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail 
• Ensure products meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Monitor product performance and implement strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders, including executive leadership and customers
• Proven experience as a Product Director or similar leadership role in the data solutions industry
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Bonus points for:   

• BS or MS/A in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject 
• Proficiency in computer technology and programming languages 
• Experience with product in the dental, veterinary, logistics, hospitality, or other vertical markets
