About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Product to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will report to the Wordscapes business General Manager and serve as a primary leader for our flagship game. You will be responsible for driving our product strategy, mentoring our talented product management team, and ensuring that Wordscapes remains a leader in the mobile word game category through innovative live-ops and feature development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the product strategy, roadmapping, and prioritization for Wordscapes to support our thriving community of over 4 million daily active users.
- Manage and grow a team of high-performing product managers, providing them with the mentorship and strategic guidance needed to excel.
- Collaborate with our analytics, engineering, and monetization teams to translate player insights into impactful features, revenue growth, and optimized user experiences.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in the mobile gaming industry and a passion for building community-driven experiences. Our ideal candidate brings the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience leading product teams for successful mobile game titles.
- A proven track record of improving retention and player lifetime value through effective live services and feature development.
- Exceptional communication skills and a data-driven mindset, with the ability to design experiments and use player behavior insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Strong leadership experience with a willingness to be a hands-on contributor who is ready to jump into any task.
- A deep understanding of the mobile gaming ecosystem, with preference given to those who have worked on top 50 grossing titles or in the casual puzzle and word game vertical.
Location
This is a remote position. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, or Washington State.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive total compensation package, with a base salary range of $165,000 to $215,000. Your specific compensation will be determined based on your experience, skills, and market location. In addition to base pay, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
