CitySwift is currently expanding our team and searching for a visionary leader to join us as our Director of Product Operations. As the premier data platform for public transport, we empower some of the largest transit networks in the world to make informed, data-driven decisions. We are backed by over 15 million EUR in venture capital and work alongside major industry partners like Transport for London, National Express, and the Go-Ahead Group. With 100 percent year-over-year revenue growth and a massive increase in our customer base during 2023, we are scaling rapidly. Our mission is to boost the use of sustainable public transport globally, and we are proud that our platform currently optimizes more than 1 billion passenger journeys every year, with an ambitious goal to reach 10 billion by 2026.
About the Role
This is a full-time, executive-level position where you will report directly to the VP of Product. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing our product operations to ensure that our roadmap is executed seamlessly. Your strategic mindset and ability to foster collaboration across departments will be essential as we continue to transform the way millions of people interact with public transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Product Managers and collaborate closely with Engineering Managers to oversee the planning and delivery of new product features.
- Develop and implement operational best practices to improve efficiency, focusing on areas such as feature release management, sales enablement, value-based pricing, and the analysis of user feedback and usage metrics.
- Serve as a central point of communication for internal and external stakeholders to ensure everyone remains aligned on our core product initiatives.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who brings the following qualifications to our team:
- At least 8 years of professional experience within product operations, product management, or a related field in the technology sector.
- A demonstrated history of successfully managing product operations and delivering complex, high-impact products.
- An expert-level understanding of product management tools and processes, with the ability to mentor the organization on adopting industry best practices.
- A self-motivated and autonomous work style that thrives in environments where you can take the lead.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to lead both technical and non-technical discussions with ease.
Location
This role is available as a hybrid position based in Ireland, or it can be performed remotely from anywhere.
