Director of Product Management at Obligo

Obligo is on a mission to build trust between landlords and renters through financial technology that supports the lifecycle of the landlord-tenant relationship.
We are looking for a Director of Product to execute Obligo's product vision and strategy. Working alongside our CTO & R&D managers, you will manage a team of product managers, analysts, UX writers, and designers to bring our product to life.

As a Director of Product, you will:

• Hire, train, and manage a team of 3 Product managers and a Product Designer.
• Develop and regularly communicate the product strategy, and roadmap to the organization and external stakeholders
• Engage customers on a regular basis, understand their needs, and continuously validate ideas/hypotheses
• Develop processes for collecting product feedback and communicating product changes, both internally and externally
• Establish and document the process of turning ideas into features/products (from goal setting, alignment, and prioritization to deliverables)
• Reinforce our culture of balancing data-driven and vision-driven decision-making - track and monitor new features and measure their impact
• Work closely with R&D managers on planning, priorities, and cross-team processes
• Attend leadership meetings and represent the product department

Requirements

• At least 3 years as a product leader
• At least 6 years of hands-on product management experience in SaaS products
• Great management skills and passion for leading other employees
• Technical understanding of web development and web applications
• Experience with product analytics tools (MixPanel/Google Analytics/FullStory/Amplitude)
• Profound UX understanding and the ability to turn ideas into great experiences
• Self-managed, organized, methodical, and able to handle pressure
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to write UX microcopy
• Experience in the FinTech / eCommerce space - Advantage
