Director of Product Management at Obligo

Obligo is transforming the rental market by building trust between landlords and tenants through innovative financial technology. We are looking for a Director of Product Management to join our team in Israel, where you will lead our product strategy and guide a talented group of designers, analysts, and product managers to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and lead a team consisting of three product managers and a product designer.
• Define and share our product roadmap and strategic vision with both internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain a deep connection with our customers to validate new ideas and address their evolving needs.
• Create structured processes for gathering feedback and communicating product updates across the organization.
• Establish clear workflows for the product lifecycle, from initial goal setting and prioritization to final delivery.
• Foster a culture that balances visionary thinking with data-driven insights by tracking the performance of new features.
• Collaborate closely with R&D leadership to align on development priorities and cross-functional processes.
• Represent the product department during leadership meetings to ensure our goals remain central to company strategy.

Must-haves

• At least 6 years of hands-on experience managing SaaS products.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a product leadership role.
• Strong management capabilities and a genuine passion for developing team members.
• A solid technical grasp of web development and modern web applications.
• Proficiency with product analytics platforms such as Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Fullstory, or Amplitude.
• A deep understanding of UX principles and the ability to craft intuitive user experiences.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write UX microcopy.
• A methodical, self-managed approach to work with the ability to thrive under pressure.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous professional experience within the Fintech or eCommerce sectors.
