Civitas Learning is looking for a Director of Product Management to guide the evolution of our Student Impact Platform. We help colleges and universities leverage student data to improve graduation rates, close equity gaps, and boost career readiness, and we need a strategic leader to help us integrate the next generation of AI capabilities into our analytics tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and communicate a clear product vision that aligns our roadmap with institutional goals and student success.
- Lead our AI integration strategy, focusing on practical solutions that augment user efficacy and build trust.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing product team that values data-driven decisions and customer empathy.
- Oversee the product lifecycle from initial concept to final launch, ensuring timely delivery of new features.
- Partner with engineering, marketing, and sales leadership to ensure our strategy is successfully executed across the business.
- Maintain deep expertise in the higher education market to inform product direction and meet the needs of institutional leaders.
Must-haves
- At least 8 years of experience in software product management, including 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of defining and launching products that are data-intensive or AI-powered.
- Demonstrated success in building and leading engaged, high-performing teams.
- Strong strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to present complex visions to diverse stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
Nice-to-haves
- Background in the EdTech sector or experience with SaaS products designed for higher education.
- Direct experience with student success platforms, enrollment management technology, or advising tools.
- Familiarity with higher education data systems like SIS, LMS, or CRM.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI development and integration.
- Experience presenting product roadmaps and strategies to institutional leaders such as Provosts or Deans.
Benefits
The salary for this position is $195,000 USD.
