The role
We are hiring a Director or Senior Director of Product Management to lead product strategy and execution for our identity and access management platform. This is a full-time, remote position at the executive level. The role can be scoped at either the Director or Senior Director level depending on the depth of your experience leading B2B cybersecurity and IAM products in small enterprise or startup environments.
Core responsibilities
- Own product development and roadmap execution for Clever’s cybersecurity and data integration solutions, with a primary focus on Identity and Access Management.
- Partner with engineering, design, marketing, and sales leaders to bring new products to market while shaping strategy that balances customer needs and business goals.
- Mentor and scale a team of product managers, raising the craft of product management and fostering a data-driven culture that measures success through clear metrics.
Skills and experience
- At least ten years of product management experience for Director level, or twelve years for Senior Director level, with a proven record of developing and scaling B2B cybersecurity and IAM products.
- Five or more years of people-management experience for Director level, or eight years for Senior Director level, including building and leading high-performing teams.
- Experience working in small enterprise or startup settings, engaging directly with enterprise customers and their executive leadership, and successfully launching new products.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, IAM standards, and current cybersecurity trends, paired with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluency in English is required; edtech domain experience is helpful but not mandatory.
Compensation and benefits
For candidates in the United States outside New York City and San Francisco, the base salary range is $199,000–$235,000 at the Director level and $233,000–$275,000 at the Senior Director level. For candidates in New York City or San Francisco, the ranges are $219,000–$258,000 and $257,000–$302,000 respectively. All final offers are determined by experience and expertise.
