With roots in New Zealand and our headquarters in San Francisco, we are a global footwear and apparel brand dedicated to creating better things in a better way. As a certified B Corp, we prioritize natural materials and high-quality craftsmanship to design products for life’s everyday adventures. We are currently looking for a passionate leader to join our Asia operations team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, to help us continue our journey of innovation.
The opportunity
We are seeking an accomplished Director of Product Development to serve as our Regional Head of Production Engineering, Development, and Quality Assurance. Reporting to our Production VP and the Vietnam Country Manager, you will lead our regional teams in the North of Vietnam. Your primary goal is to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial tech pack to the finished product. You will be the driving force behind our commitment to product excellence, bridging the gap between design concepts and market-ready footwear.
A day in the life
- Lead and mentor our regional quality, development, and commercialization teams to foster a culture of innovation, growth, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle by managing timelines against our go-to-market calendar and coordinating with cross-functional partners like design, materials, and factory teams.
- Establish and enforce stringent quality control measures, including technical fittings and material testing, to ensure every pair of shoes meets our rigorous standards.
Who you are
You are a seasoned executive with at least 15 years of progressive experience in footwear development or commercialization. You have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, including pattern making, grading, last making, and tooling. You are a natural leader who excels at coaching teams and solving complex technical problems. You communicate fluently in English and possess a bachelor’s degree in footwear, fashion design, engineering, or a related field. You are comfortable working on-site and are ready to take ownership of our regional production strategies.
Why you'll love it here

- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- Paid time off and generous holiday leave.
