Role at a glance
We are seeking a Director of Product Design and Research to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a senior-level leadership role where you will drive our design strategy and research initiatives from anywhere in the world. You will be the primary subject matter expert, ensuring our work remains rigorous, consistent, and deeply focused on the people we serve.
Your impact
- Set the overarching vision for our product design function while managing and mentoring a team of talented design leaders.
- Lead the execution of comprehensive user research programs, from defining initial questions to synthesizing data into actionable design insights.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product peers to establish best practices, curate our design workflows, and ensure our solutions deliver measurable impact for our clients.
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of experience in design and research management, preferably within a top consumer technology or health-tech organization.
- A minimum of 3 years of direct experience managing teams, including career pathing and professional development for designers.
- A strong foundation in product design, user research, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Experience in client management and participating in the sales cycle to help plan and estimate project proposals.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency in English and a passion for blending art direction, brand identity, and product strategy.
