The opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Partnership Sales to lead our efforts in building a world-class channel strategy. This is a high-impact position where you will move beyond simple transactions to cultivate a network of service-oriented partners. You will be the primary advocate for these relationships, ensuring that our partners are empowered to help their customers achieve true internet resilience while driving significant revenue growth for both parties. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable executing tactical sales initiatives and developing long-term programs from the ground up.
A day in the life
- You will design and implement a comprehensive partner sales strategy that aligns with our broader business goals and identifies new market opportunities.
- You will actively recruit, engage, and empower a select group of high-potential partners across key global regions.
- You will lead co-selling initiatives and joint go-to-market activities to maximize sales momentum and ensure our partners are fully equipped to succeed.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a proven track record in alliances, partner management, and channel sales. You possess a deep understanding of various channel models, such as VAR, VAD, MSP, and GSI, and you know how to adapt these models to different global markets. Your background includes:
- Extensive experience in building partner programs from scratch and managing 1-tier channel relationships.
- Technical fluency in monitoring and performance management, including APM, NPM, IPM, and foundational internet technologies like DNS, BGP, and CDNs.
- Strong sales management skills with a consistent history of meeting quotas and fostering long-term business growth.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to navigate complex business development landscapes.
- Fluency in English.
- A willingness to travel as needed to support our global partner network.
