Kitware is looking for a creative and energetic Director of Marketing to join our leadership team. Our team creates custom software solutions for complex problems, supporting influential open source platforms like CMake, VTK, ParaView, and 3D Slicer. Key outcomes
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our corporate mission and drive business growth.
- Provide expert guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for marketing technical services.
- Manage and elevate the Kitware brand, including providing oversight for the identity of our various open source platforms.
- Collaborate with leadership to establish and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a dedicated team of marketing professionals.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics to measure the success of our campaigns.
- Partner with internal departments, such as HR, IT, and security, to support overall company objectives.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of professional marketing experience, with a minimum of 5 years spent within a technology services company.
- Proven leadership abilities, including at least 3 years of experience managing a team.
- Demonstrated success in creating and adhering to marketing budgets.
- Strong project management skills and a history of delivering results that contribute to business expansion.
- Experience working effectively at the leadership level within a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a US Person, including citizens, permanent residents, asylees, or refugees, due to contractual requirements.
