At X by 2, we operate as an IT consultancy composed of designers, software architects, engineers, and strategists. We leverage human-centric design, advanced data analytics, and modern technology to help healthcare and insurance organizations navigate the needs of today's digital consumers. We are currently seeking a Director of Marketing to join our team in a full-time, hybrid capacity within the United States.
In this executive role, you will lead the creation and execution of our public relations and marketing strategies. You will work closely with our leadership and sales teams to elevate our brand and establish X by 2 as a trusted partner in the industry. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, capable of bringing structure to our processes, and ready to drive results through creative, strategic initiatives.
Key outcomes
- Develop and refine our overall brand identity, marketing approach, and public relations strategy.
- Establish and lead a high-performing marketing function, including managing resources and filling necessary skill gaps.
- Design and implement initiatives that support both our immediate business requirements and long-term growth goals.
- Create and manage marketing programs that drive new sales leads, improve brand perception, and attract top talent.
- Oversee the execution of campaigns from initial concept to final delivery while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Implement measurement systems to track the ROI of our marketing efforts and use those insights to inform future strategic decisions.
- Develop compelling messaging and tactics that differentiate our firm and engage our target audiences.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing leadership and creative marketing roles.
- Proven success in building or scaling a marketing department, ideally within a smaller company setting.
- A strong background in B2B marketing, specifically within the professional services or technology consulting sectors.
- Proficiency in using data analysis and market research to guide strategic planning.
- Excellent judgment regarding when to perform tasks personally versus delegating, supported by a network of reliable freelancers or agencies.
- A demonstrated track record of delivering measurable results through successful marketing programs.
- Broad expertise across branding, communications, positioning, and messaging.
- The ability to act as a confident strategist who is comfortable collaborating across departments and offering a clear point of view.
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Proximity to the metro Detroit area, with the ability to work in the office several days per week.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $170,000. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
