About the Role

We are searching for a Director of Marketing to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will act as a creative operator who bridges the gap between art and commerce. You will be responsible for leading our marketing strategy, managing our creative output, and overseeing production operations. This position is perfect for a hands-on leader who enjoys building multidisciplinary teams and wants to make a tangible impact on the decentralized finance ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our foundation's broader goals while managing the annual planning process and tracking key performance indicators.
• Oversee the refresh of our design system and lead the development of multi-channel campaigns, including content for YouTube, podcasts, social media, and live events, specifically aimed at attracting developers.
• Build and mentor a high-performing team, including external freelancers and agencies, while collaborating with internal departments like Developer Relations and Governance to ensure our programs remain fiscally responsible and impactful.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in marketing leadership, particularly within the crypto, open-source software, or developer tooling sectors. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Proven expertise in go-to-market campaign development, content and email marketing, marketing automation, and web analytics.
• A track record of recruiting, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse departments.
• A deep passion for DeFi and a hands-on mindset that allows you to thrive in a nimble, collaborative organization.
