Through our grants, developer resources and governance of existing delegates (Uniswap token holders) we combine the elements of long term sustainability and security. We strive to create a feeling of ownership for our entire community and support them to define the future of DeFi’s most important protocol. 

About You

You are a seasoned creative operator who thrives at the intersection of art and commerce, having built and led multidisciplinary teams across Marketing, Creative, Content Strategy, Production, and Operations. You will lead all strategy and execution including finalizing the marketing plan each year, setting KPIs and tracking them throughout the year.  You will lead the refresh of a design system and develop campaigns to attract developers that likely will include content creation systems across YouTube, podcasts, X, live events and beyond. While you are adept at strategy you really shine when it comes to elevating the delivery of marketing production across every touchpoint. The integration of data and reporting into your work comes naturally and you can manage across performance marketing agencies and in-house analysts.

This is a small and nimble team so we’re looking for a leader who can roll-up their sleeves and build a small team that includes external freelance partners and agencies. You will collaborate with department leaders across Developer Relations, Grants and Governance to assure that our programs have impactful marketing strategies.You will partner closely with the operations, finance to assure that we’re building a sustainable and fiscally responsible department.

You have experience with GTM campaign development, content marketing, email marketing, multichannel nurture, media metrics, web analytics, campaign development, social media marketing, marketing automation(AI) and beyond. 

You are a leader who’s able to effectively build relationships to work across departments and an experienced manager and team builder who has a track record of recruiting and mentoring A-players.  You’re a strong communicator and able to drive results with your use of verbal, written and presentation skills. What You'll Do

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies, aligning them with the foundation's goals.
• Lead the annual marketing planning process, setting KPIs, and ensuring consistent tracking and reporting.
• Drive the creation and refresh of the design system, developing compelling campaigns to attract developers.
• Oversee content creation across diverse platforms like YouTube, podcasts, social media, and live events.
• Integrate data and analytics into marketing decisions, working closely with in-house and/or agency resources.
• Build and manage a high-performing team, including recruiting and mentoring, while effectively collaborating with external partners and freelancers.
• Coordinate with various department leaders to ensure cohesive marketing strategies.
• Manage budgets and collaborate with operations and finance teams to maintain fiscal responsibility.
• Build a strong data-driven and experimentation-oriented culture through storytelling with data.
• Create a world-class brand that delivers ROI, drives word of mouth and permeates every interaction throughout the business.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the customer and their behaviors

What You Bring to the Table

• Proven experience in leading marketing and creative teams, particularly in developer tooling, open source software, or crypto.
• Expertise in GTM campaign development, content marketing, email marketing, multichannel nurture strategies, media metrics, web analytics, and marketing automation.
• Experience working with Developer marketing a strong plus
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and mentoring teams.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• Deep customer empathy and a passion for solving customer’s needs
• Ability to work cross-functionally and foster a collaborative environment.
• A hands-on state of mind.
