The role

We are seeking a Director of IT Operations to join us on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level leadership position that can be performed remotely from anywhere. You will be responsible for steering our IT strategy, overseeing critical operational functions, and fostering a culture of excellence across our technical teams.

Core responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive leadership and oversight for key IT functions, including project management, procurement, support services, and transformation initiatives to ensure they operate as a cohesive unit.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that enhance operational efficiency, infrastructure reliability, and service delivery while maintaining strict alignment with our broader business objectives.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing team of IT managers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaborative problem-solving.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in IT leadership and a passion for driving technological change. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Extensive experience in managing complex IT operations, including demonstrated success in strategic planning, vendor management, and cloud computing.
• Deep familiarity with IT service management frameworks like ITIL and a proven ability to manage service level agreements.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and a track record of implementing innovative technology solutions that improve business outcomes.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels and lead transformation projects effectively.
