By combining high-tech platforms with high-touch service, we are revolutionizing how society supports aging adults and their families. We are seeking a Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. In this role, you will lead the evolution of our IT infrastructure, scaling our systems to support thousands of users while driving innovation through automation and AI, all while maintaining rigorous cybersecurity and HIPAA compliance standards.
Responsibilities

- Define and execute infrastructure strategies, including the management of hundreds of SaaS applications and the development of standardized, managed IT solutions for our Home Instead franchise network.
- Lead, recruit, and mentor a high-performing team of technical project managers, system administrators, and support staff to ensure operational excellence, cost efficiency, and superior service level agreements.
Requirements
We are looking for a strategic leader with extensive experience in healthcare or related industries, specifically regarding HIPAA-compliant environments. You should have a proven track record of managing complex IT architectures, including cloud infrastructure, user identity, and procurement. Key qualifications include:
- Demonstrated success in leading infrastructure transformations and multiple SaaS migrations.
- Strong program management skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple workstreams, deadlines, and resources.
- Expertise in vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement processes.
- A customer-obsessed mindset with a focus on change management, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to communicate progress effectively to senior leadership.
- Experience or interest in exploring emerging technologies, such as AI and business process automation, to improve operational efficiency.

- Generous equity packages that scale with your position and responsibilities.
- A 401k plan with an employer match of up to 4%.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, including zero-cost plans for employees.
