What is this role?

We are seeking a Director of Hardware and Service Products to join our team in a full-time, remote-capable capacity. Reporting directly to our Chief Technology Officer, you will lead the strategy and execution for our hardware offerings, including our EV charging infrastructure and battery storage solutions. This is a senior-level position that requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and a passion for driving product innovation from concept to market launch.

What will you do?

  • Take ownership of the full product lifecycle by gathering customer feedback, defining technical requirements, and building robust business cases for our hardware and service portfolio.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives by collaborating with engineering, supply chain, sales, and marketing teams to ensure seamless product development, testing, and market entry.
  • Maintain our product roadmap and ensure that our EV charging hardware remains at the cutting edge by translating market needs into actionable specifications and documentation.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in hardware product management and a deep understanding of the energy or clean tech sectors. We value candidates who possess the following:

  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, research and development, or technical business development.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a talent for guiding teams through complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • A data-driven mindset and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English to effectively manage documentation and cross-departmental collaboration.
