At Pulumi, we are changing the way developers and DevOps teams build and manage cloud software. By combining a powerful open source platform with an innovative SaaS product, we help teams use the programming languages they already know to master the cloud. We are looking for a Director of Events Marketing to join our growing team and help us build deep connections within the developer community. If you are ready to challenge yourself while teaching and collaborating with a world-class team, we want to hear from you.

- Own the end-to-end management of our events calendar, including everything from large-scale trade shows and conferences to intimate community meetups and webinars.
- Oversee all logistical aspects of our event presence, including contract negotiations, budget management, equipment shipping, and ensuring our team is prepared to engage effectively on the ground.
What you'll need
- At least 6 years of experience in field marketing, specifically with a focus on developer-focused events and community engagement.
- Proven success in managing the full lifecycle of events, ranging from major industry conferences to smaller, community-led user groups.
- Strong project management and communication skills, with a track record of collaborating across departments like sales, partner marketing, and developer advocacy.
- A deep appreciation for the open source ecosystem and the ability to translate technical community engagement into measurable sales pipeline growth.
- Fluency in English.

- 401k plan with employer matching.
- Unlimited vacation policy that encourages taking at least three weeks of time off per year.
- Professional development budget to support your ongoing learning and growth.
