About the Role
We are searching for a Director of Event Marketing to join our team on a full-time basis. In this leadership position, you will be responsible for building and evangelizing our corporate event strategy. You will act as a strategic advisor to our sales and marketing departments while maintaining a hands-on approach to planning and execution. Reporting to the head of enterprise marketing, you will lead a team of specialists to ensure our event presence aligns with our broader business goals and drives measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive event strategy and annual budget that directly supports our company objectives and KPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to design high-impact event experiences and produce relevant content, such as presentations and booth messaging.
- Manage the end-to-end event lifecycle, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, ROI tracking, and the professional development of your team.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who balances strategic vision with operational execution. You should be a collaborative, low-ego leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- At least 7 years of experience in event marketing, with 3 or more years in a people management role.
- Strong preference for candidates with 3+ years of experience in digital healthcare or high-growth technology sectors.
- Proven success in managing both virtual and in-person events, including familiarity with major industry conferences.
- Proficiency with enterprise tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, Asana, and the Google Suite.
- A bachelor’s degree is required, and an MBA is considered a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
