What you bring

We are seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to join our team in Medellin, Colombia on a full-time, hybrid basis. This executive-level role focuses on high-level strategy, solution architecture, and team mentorship. Your core responsibilities include:

• Partnering with our clients to design and deliver digital solutions that provide significant business value while ensuring architectural scalability and performance.
• Providing expert coaching and guidance to our developers to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Collaborating closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and data scientists to ensure the efficient and cohesive delivery of all project solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in software engineering and solution architecture. We look for candidates who hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, supported by over a decade of professional experience in senior or lead positions. You must be comfortable working with backend, frontend, and cloud technologies, and you should have a solid grasp of database management and architectural design patterns. Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are essential.
