We are seeking a Director of Engineering to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity to lead multiple product development squads and drive our engineering vision forward.

Key outcomes

• Take full accountability for all engineering aspects of product delivery, ensuring high-quality software that delights our customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders to manage expectations, navigate escalations, and influence decision-making.
• Partner with product management to shape strategy, define roadmaps, and refine development processes.
• Establish clear, measurable objectives for your teams and drive them to successful completion.
• Cultivate a high-performing culture by mentoring engineering managers and developing emerging leaders.
• Lead inclusive and effective recruitment efforts to scale our engineering organization.
• Represent the engineering department in cross-functional projects and serve as a key point of contact for internal and external partners.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of experience building complex, full stack software applications.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in an enterprise, customer-facing role delivering successful software products.
• At least 5 years of experience managing and scaling multiple development teams.
• Deep understanding and practical application of Agile development methodologies.
• Proven ability to motivate teams, identify potential roadblocks early, and drive high-value decision-making.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders.
• Commitment to maintaining information security policies and ensuring compliance within your teams.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $182,000 to $240,000. Please note that for Canadian applicants, the specific range is $182,000 to $239,500 CAD, exclusive of bonuses, equity, and benefits. We offer the flexibility of remote work to all our team members.
