What you bring

As our first Director of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology as we scale. This full-time, executive-level position is remote, allowing you to work from anywhere. You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and collaborate with product management to oversee engineering across our web, mobile, and Salesforce platforms. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Leading our engineering teams by fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and innovation.
• Managing team health and productivity by tracking performance metrics and aligning technical investments with business objectives.
• Building and mentoring high-performing teams while recruiting top talent to fill key gaps.

Requirements

We are looking for a seasoned leader with over 10 years of experience in designing and building scalable systems, including at least 5 years in management roles at growth-stage startups. You should have a proven track record of delivering user-facing products and be comfortable making strategic build versus buy decisions. We value candidates who are empathetic mentors, advocates for diversity and inclusion, and deeply committed to compliance and security standards. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is required, and while not mandatory, experience in the healthcare sector is highly preferred.

What we offer
