🚀 About the Role

As our Director of Engineering for Native Apps, you’ll lead the teams who build SDKs that collect data from customer-facing iOS, Android, and Flutter applications. These apps serve hundreds of millions of end-users each day, across the most respected and recognizable brands in the world. You’ll oversee software development, testing and release management for all native app data collection activities, steering the team to deliver rock-solid solutions to our clients’ toughest problems.

You love native app development:

You have experience building, testing and releasing 3rd party libraries for inclusion into iOS, Android and Flutter native apps.

You’re comfortable with the complexities and high expectations of integrating your software into external applications.

You understand the importance of zero crashes, simple APIs, solid documentation and real-world examples.

You enjoy working directly with customers and stakeholders:

You’re ready to hop on calls with customers across industries, to answer their questions, and assist with integration issues.

You look forward to speaking directly with Engineering leaders of Fortune 500 companies, as an opportunity to build relationships and trust.

You’re not afraid to jump in, communicate proactively and be accountable for your teams’ work in front of senior leaders and executives.

You have a proven track record of recruiting and leading high-performing engineers.

You understand various challenges of navigating customer requests, support tickets, competing project priorities and how, as a leader, it’s your responsibility to help the team navigate these facets and move forward with excellent foresight and strategy.

🔧 Responsibilities

Drive measurable impact on revenue generation and customer retention, through effective, efficient and error-free native app data collection

Expand and mature our native app SDK development, testing, automation and release processes

Measure and manage our SDKs in production; be the first one to know when something isn’t right, and act quickly to address it

Proactively over-communicate your team’s activities, accomplishments and areas for improvement across the organization

Hire, retain, mold and maintain the best native engineering team in the industry

Compensation: $180,000-220,000
