We are currently looking for a Director of Engineering to join us on a full-time, hybrid basis in the United States. In this executive-level role, you will bootstrap and lead our new Syndication team, driving the strategy and execution for a key initiative that shapes how we scope and build future product partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of our most complex and ambiguous engineering challenges, ensuring our systems remain scalable and cohesive.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align on a unified technical vision while balancing feature velocity with long-term platform stability.
- Mentor and manage senior and principal engineers, recruit top-tier talent, and institutionalize best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 20 years of professional software development experience.
- A minimum of 15 years of programming experience using modern languages such as Java or C++.
- Over 15 years of experience in system architecture, design patterns, and scaling.
- An advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience shipping large-scale consumer products and partnering with Machine Learning or research teams.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a technical lead manager overseeing multiple engineering functions.
