Director of Engineering at Valcre

We are looking for a passionate leader to help us continue building an innovative, enterprise-grade SaaS solution that streamlines appraisal workflows on a global scale.

What is this role?

We are seeking a Director of Engineering to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a senior-level leadership position where you will report directly to our CTO. You will be responsible for guiding our geographically distributed engineering teams across the United States, Europe, and Latin America as we continue to evolve our mobile, desktop, and web-based platform.

What will you do?

• Lead, mentor, and support our diverse, distributed engineering teams to ensure the successful design and operation of our platform.
• Execute an AI-first strategy to enhance our product capabilities and improve internal engineering efficiencies.
• Partner closely with our product management team to solve complex client challenges and drive innovation across the entire Valcre ecosystem.

What makes you a great fit?

You are a highly technical leader with a strong background in software engineering and people management. You should be comfortable working with Azure and modern development frameworks like Angular and React Native. We are looking for someone who brings the following qualities:

• Extensive experience in software engineering and management, specifically within SaaS environments.
• A proven track record of integrating AI technologies into enterprise products to boost workflow efficiency and user experience.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration across multiple time zones and departments.
• A deep understanding of how to build scalable, reliable, and high-quality software solutions.
• Professional proficiency in English to effectively lead our global teams.
