About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Engineering to join our team on a Full Time basis. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end development of the Verona mobile app. You will oversee the entire technical landscape, including iOS and Android development, backend architecture, and cloud infrastructure, while collaborating with our product and design teams to build a secure and high-performing experience for our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full mobile application lifecycle, from initial design and architecture to deployment, ensuring a responsive and seamless experience across all platforms.
• Manage and mentor our engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation while working closely with cross-functional partners to meet business goals and project timelines.
• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Python, while utilizing Kubernetes and cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure to ensure robust performance.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, ideally from a Tier 1 institution.
• At least 5 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership position.
• Proven track record of leading the development of mobile applications at scale using frameworks such as React Native or Flutter.
• Strong technical expertise in API design, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and a deep understanding of mobile security and data privacy best practices.

Location

This position is based in India and requires an on-site presence.
