Role at a glance
We are seeking a Director of Engineering to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a senior-level leadership position based in the United States, requiring availability during East Coast hours. You will oversee multiple product engineering teams, shaping both our technical architecture and our organizational strategy to ensure we continue delivering high-quality, reliable software.
Your impact
- Lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams, providing the guidance necessary to ensure consistent delivery, technical excellence, and healthy team operations.
- Collaborate with product leadership and fellow engineering directors to define long-term technical roadmaps, address technical debt, and maintain robust system health.
- Drive team velocity by proactively identifying blockers, refining execution processes, and fostering a culture that prioritizes both speed and quality.
What you'll need
- At least 12 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong background in technical leadership and people management.
- A proven track record of managing engineering managers and leading teams through complex, iterative product development cycles.
- Hands-on fluency with AI-powered developer tools, such as Copilot or Cursor, and a passion for integrating these technologies into team workflows.
- Experience working within distributed or global teams, with a deep understanding of system reliability and operational excellence at scale.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to align engineering efforts with customer needs.
