We are currently seeking a Director of Engineering to provide leadership and strategic direction at our facility in Goodyear, Arizona.

Key outcomes

• Lead and manage the engineering, utilities, and reliability functions to ensure our facility operates at its full design potential.
• Cultivate a culture of measurement-driven continuous improvement while upholding our Believe in Better philosophy.
• Develop robust engineering programs, including equipment overhaul strategies, spare parts management, and utility oversight.
• Drive strategic projects and problem-solving routines to improve plant reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
• Mentor technical subject matter experts and engineering technicians who oversee critical areas like UHT, aseptic filling, and packaging.
• Serve as a primary stakeholder in the site capital process by developing and implementing projects that impact key performance indicators.
• Collaborate across operations, quality, and process technology teams to provide technical solutions and maintain world-class efficiency.
• Champion safety programs, including Lockout Tagout, contractor safety, and confined space protocols.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in engineering or plant management, with a preference for those who have led remote locations.
• Direct experience in dairy, bottling, or brewing environments, with aseptic processing experience considered a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to identify and mitigate food safety risks associated with temperature-sensitive raw materials.
• Demonstrated track record of implementing Lean and TPM principles to create long-term value.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing technologies, including MES, MRP, CMMS, and SCADA systems.
• Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations, as well as fiscal management and budgeting principles.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead diverse teams through complex, fast-paced operational challenges.
• Fluency in English.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 USD. Actual pay may vary based on geography, specific job-related skills, and experience. We also provide a comprehensive package of medical, financial, and other benefits.
