Role at a glance
We are looking for a Director of Engineering to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a senior leadership position focused on our practitioner experience, and because we believe in the philosophy of working wherever you perform best, this role is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere.
Your impact
- Take ownership of the technical vision, planning, and architectural design for three to five of our engineering pods.
- Partner closely with product and design leadership to advance our overall product strategy and roadmap.
- Mentor and grow a talented team of technical leads while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
What you'll need
We are looking for an intentional, purpose-driven leader who is comfortable solving complex technical challenges. You should have a strong background in the following areas:
- Proven experience leading engineering teams that build customer-facing applications.
- A track record of growing and supporting other technical leaders.
- Experience working in a highly collaborative environment alongside product management, design, and data teams.
- Practical experience working within a continuous integration environment.
- Industry experience in either e-commerce or health-tech.
- Fluency in English.
