Responsibilities
- Set the strategic vision and roadmap for our platform software team to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Mentor and lead a talented group of engineers, promoting a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration.
- Direct the architecture and development of reliable, scalable, and efficient platform solutions.
- Work alongside product management and other engineering leaders to define requirements and ensure smooth component integration.
- Establish and maintain high standards for software quality, testing, and development best practices.
- Prioritize initiatives focused on security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Handle resource planning, budgeting, and allocation for the development team.
- Proactively identify technical risks and manage challenges to keep projects on track.
- Stay current with emerging industry technologies and integrate relevant advancements into our platform strategy.
- Communicate progress, challenges, and strategic updates to senior leadership.
Must-haves
- At least 10 years of experience in software delivery and development within an enterprise SaaS environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing teams of 20 or more individual contributors and managers.
- A strong technical foundation in quality infrastructure, system-level testing, or CI/CD frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams in a collaborative setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across the entire organization.
- A track record of solving complex problems and delivering projects on time and within budget.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluency in English.
Benefits
The U.S. base salary for this role ranges from $243,000 to $286,000 for candidates in CA, NY, and WA, and $232,000 to $273,000 for other U.S. locations.
- Fully remote work environment.
