What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing, growing, and mentoring a team of experienced and passionate mobile engineers and engineering managersServing as an engineering leader and technical expert within engineering and to cross-functional partners Leading and participating in technical, design, and product discussions with teams across the organization and companyContinuing to build a world-class team by hiring exceptional talent, coaching and developing engineers, and leveraging your technical expertise to raise the bar and building the right amount of processAdvocating for code quality, new technologies, and architectural design within the companySupporting initiatives to improve engineering efficiency, quality, and happinessWorking in a highly collaborative environment as a distributed team across engineering, security, data science, product management, and marketing Requirements:
10+ years of building high-performing, healthy mobile teams that addressed increasingly complex technical and organizational challengesDeep experience in the iOS or Android native SDK. We prefer iOS candidates to balance our internal team experienceActively coached and mentored team members in their careersShipped many large scale projects with multiple dependencies across teamsStrong communication and analytical skillsExperience with CI/CD workflows and toolsExperience with Monitoring, Logging, Reporting, and Alerting frameworks like Crashlytics, Embrace, New Relic, and DatadogProficient with Jira, Confluence, Github, and AI AutocompleteScrappy, creative problem solver who is willing to dive in wherever is neededConsistently made culture choices that positively impact all of engineeringHumility, empathy and open-mindedness - no egosBelieve that strong teams are built on trust and autonomyPassion for the outdoors Bonus Points:
