The role

We are looking for an experienced Director of Engineering, Data Platform to lead our data strategy and infrastructure. This is a full-time, executive-level position that operates in a hybrid work environment. You will be responsible for the vision and execution of our data and AI initiatives, ensuring our platform is scalable, secure, and capable of supporting the rapid growth of our business.

Core responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of data platform engineers to drive technical excellence.
• Define and execute the long-term roadmap for our data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes, and integration solutions.
• Collaborate across product, engineering, and analytics departments to deliver robust data solutions that empower AI and machine learning initiatives.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in data engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
• Deep technical expertise in SQL, NoSQL, and data warehousing solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern data processing frameworks.
• Extensive experience with cloud-based platforms like AWS and Snowflake.
• A solid understanding of containerization, orchestration, and data governance best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and think like a product owner.

Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is 250,000 USD to 270,000 USD per year. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a variety of perks to support our team members, including:
