We are currently looking for a Director of Design to join our remote team and help us shape the future of our brand and product ecosystem.

Key outcomes

• Establish high standards for our product and brand design, overseeing the development of web and mobile applications, visual interfaces, and comprehensive UI/UX strategies.
• Partner closely with our engineering, product, and marketing leads to shepherd projects from initial concept through to final launch and scale.
• Build and mentor a best-in-class design team that integrates seamlessly across all functions of our organization.
• Utilize data and customer insights to develop conceptual wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Develop a unified design system that accelerates our product and open-source engineering efforts while maintaining consistency across our brand and marketing output.
• Drive business outcomes by creating integrated experiences that reflect our organizational vision and mission.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing the full design lifecycle, including user research, copywriting, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing.
• Proven ability to translate complex, technical problems into simple and intuitive user experiences.
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end product design process, from identifying customer pain points to delivering exceptional solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, particularly in transformative or fast-paced environments, with a strong desire to mentor others.
• Strategic mindset with a history of partnering effectively with engineering, product, and business teams.
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is a significant advantage.
• A genuine interest in decentralized applications, decentralized finance, and decentralized identity.
