Reorg is a global leader in credit intelligence, providing essential data and analytics that help thousands of professionals in investment banking, law, and consulting make informed decisions within fast-moving credit markets. We are seeking a Director of Data Technology to join our team in the United States to oversee data architecture and drive the development of our scalable management applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor large-scale application development teams while fostering a collaborative environment for distributed staff.
- Design and build enterprise-grade, customer-facing applications and scalable APIs that meet high performance standards.
- Collaborate with product and commercial stakeholders to align engineering resources with business goals and technical requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on design patterns and SOLID principles to ensure our architecture remains modular, scalable, and fault-tolerant.
- Manage senior stakeholders by resolving conflicting priorities and providing clear visibility into project timelines, scope, and resource allocation.
- Work with technology leadership to maintain service reliability through rigorous testing and release management.
- Establish and enforce quality standards, security protocols, and firmwide architectural procedures.
Must-haves
- At least 7 years of experience working with Python, C#, PHP, or VueJS.
- At least 3 years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, as well as Apache Kafka, Terraform, and Docker.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing and mentoring engineering teams.
- Proven expertise in data modeling and database design, including both SQL and NoSQL environments.
- Strong grasp of the software development life cycle and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and GitHub.
- Demonstrated ability to manage distributed teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English.

- Practical experience with Django and Laravel frameworks.

The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $220,000, plus eligibility for an annual year-end performance bonus.
