What you bring

As our Director of Data Science, you will step into an executive, full-time role where you will guide our data science team to new heights. This position is fully remote and open to candidates located anywhere. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing mentorship and strategic direction to our team of Senior and Staff Data Scientists.
• Collaborating with executive leadership to define business metrics and align engineering efforts with our long-term goals.
• Managing the full lifecycle of our models by monitoring performance and driving projects that improve overall quality.

Requirements

We are looking for an experienced leader who holds a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. You should have over 10 years of experience in data science, with at least 5 of those years spent in a leadership capacity, ideally within a startup environment. You must possess a deep understanding of data privacy and security best practices. We value candidates who are strategic thinkers, possess exceptional team management skills, and can communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Fluency in English is required, and you should be a proactive problem-solver who approaches product development with a strong business-oriented mindset.
