Director of Data Operations at Grata

We are Grata, the premier private market dealmaking platform that empowers proactive dealmakers to research and engage with private companies. With our technology currently powering over $400B in assets under management, we are looking for a driven and experienced leader to head our newly established Data Operations department. This is a high-visibility position where you will work closely with our founders, gain exposure to cutting-edge AI and machine learning initiatives, and help shape the future of a fast-growing market disruptor.

What you'll be doing

• You will take full ownership of our Data Operations department, setting the overarching strategy and ensuring we achieve operational excellence.
• You will manage and scale five overseas research teams, working directly with team leads to optimize workflows and increase overall efficiency.
• You will collaborate with our product and engineering teams to define our data management strategy while staying hands-on with team training and the creation of weekly management reports.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in data operations or consulting, along with a commitment to high-quality output. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 7 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• A sharp, analytical mind with the ability to communicate complex perspectives clearly to various stakeholders.
• A resilient and gritty approach to problem-solving, paired with a strong bias for action.
• Technical proficiency in data exploration using SQL and Python.
• Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Professional fluency in English.
