Role at a glance

We are hiring a Director of Data Infrastructure Engineering to join us on a full-time basis. This is an executive-level role based in India. We operate with a hybrid work model, so you will have the flexibility to balance your time between home and the office.

Your impact

Architect and deploy highly scalable, efficient, and reliable data infrastructure that powers our storage, processing, and analytics capabilities.
Partner with data scientists and software engineers to turn complex business needs into high-performance technical designs.
Lead the development of sophisticated data pipelines that ingest and transform massive datasets while maintaining strict standards for quality and integrity.

What you'll need

You should have a strong background in computer science or engineering with 12 to 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years specifically in data engineering or infrastructure. We value candidates who bring the following expertise to the table:

Deep proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.
Hands-on experience with modern data frameworks like Apache Spark, Snowflake, Apache Flink, or Hadoop.
A solid grasp of distributed systems and major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
The ability to communicate fluently in English to collaborate effectively across our cross-functional teams.
Proven success in mentoring junior engineers and fostering a culture of technical excellence.
