We’re looking for a content-focused marketing lead who’s excited to roll up their sleeves and bring Convai to life — visually, narratively, and across the internet.

The Role

WWe’re hiring a Director of Content Creation to own and drive the full content creation pipeline, from video ideation and scripting to publishing and promotion. You’ll play a foundational role in shaping how the world sees and understands our technology — leading everything from positioning and storytelling to content production and promotional campaigns.This is a high-impact, cross-functional role reporting directly to the founders. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, design, and partnerships to turn product milestones into measurably compelling narratives. You will own and drive the full content creation pipeline, from ideation, creation to publishing and promotion and among the assets you will manage, video creation is particularly important to Convai.

You Will:

Create & Direct Marketing Materials (emphasis on video content)

Plan content that aligns with product launches, customer needs, and market narratives.

Write or oversee scripts for videos that explain and showcase Convai’s technology.

Direct video content creation from ideation to final cut — working closely with video editors, artists, and product teams.

Lead iteration: gather feedback, refine visuals and messaging, and optimize for clarity and engagement.

Partner with internal teams (product, engineering, design) to gather raw assets and insights.

Maintain a high bar for production quality, storytelling, and brand alignment.

Own the end-to-end publishing workflow — from uploading assets to writing accompanying posts and messaging.

Shape videos specifically for platform performance: hooks, length, pacing, thumbnails, subtitles, etc.

Own the content publishing workflow, including captions, tags, titles, and scheduling. Write social copy and lead the tone of voice for all public-facing messaging.

Work with a marketing manager to post and schedule content across social platforms, YouTube, newsletters, and more.

Help direct and design company branding materials such as websites, sales collaterals, event banners, etc.

Coordinate with the marketing manager to track performance and iterate on content formats, styles, and distribution tactics.

Help with running experiments with new traction channels (e.g., targeted outreach to AAA studios or enterprise L&D leaders).

Capture Convai’s presence at events, trade shows, and showcases — and produce content around them.

Who You Are

5+ years of experience directing and producing creative marketing content. You have a strong eye for visual storytelling and an ear for clarity and tone.

You’ve produced or directed high-quality video content — from concept to completion across social and video platforms. You’re comfortable writing scripts, storyboarding, and giving feedback on visuals and edits.

Strong understanding of how to craft videos for platform-native success — including editing pacing, first-frame hooks, thumbnail design, and retention strategies.

You love translating complex products into clean, compelling narratives.

Hands-on and collaborative: you thrive in creative workflows with editors, artists, and product people.

You’re based in San Francisco or open to relocation and excited to be in-person with the founding team.
